As we find ourselves in the twenty first week of national lockdown, albeit a downgraded Level 3 version, we are still unable to say with certainty when the events industry will be able to resume normal operations. No social gatherings of more than 100 people are allowed under COVID-19 regulations and we, therefore, have had to make the unfortunate decision to postpone this year’s Glacier Cradle Traverse.
The event, which was scheduled for 16-18 October 2020, will be moved to a suitable date, to be announced later this year.
Looking forward to 2021
As you have come to expect high quality events from Dryland Event Management and Glacier by Sanlam, with many of them being a highlight on the events-calendar, it is our intention to continue to exceed your expectations. With our planning for the postponed event already underway, there will be no compromises as we plan for the 2021 Glacier Cradle Traverse. Dryland, much like all companies in the non-essential industry, has not been spared the substantial and sudden negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. We propose the following solutions to make this experience as pleasant as possible for all.
Please see your options below:
1. Your fully paid entry can be transferred to the 2021 event at the 2020 rate.
2. There will be no additional charges in 2021 if you choose to transfer your 2020 entry.
3. Your entry can be sold and transferred to another party, with no substitution fee charged.
4. The value of your paid entry can be used as a credit to enter any of our future Dryland events.
5. A cash refund of 50% of your entry will be allowed.
